Adelynn was baptized on Mother's Day. We were so thankful and so blessed to celebrate her baptism with family, and it was on Mother's Day. God is so good, and we still can hardly believe that God has given her to us.

Great Grandma Dornbos
Adelynn and Mom after Oma Brown helped Adelynn get ready.
The baptismal gown that Adelynn wore at the church for her baptism has been in the Dornbos family for 118 years. She also wore my grandpa's baptismal hat. What special traditions! Because the gown was so old and fragile we put in on in the parking lot.

Way too much cake...
When my mom and dad got married, my Aunt JoAnn (also my godmother) made her wedding dress. At the same time, she made a baptismal gown for when my mom and dad had kids. This is the gown that Lynn, Dena and I wore at our baptisms. I wanted to have Adelynn wear this gown on her baptism day, too, so we put this on her for more pictures. She also had on the coat that went with this dress at the church.
Great Busia.
